Mandala Art - Full Day Retreat

Mandala Art Day Retreat

A Sacred Journey of Self-Discovery Through Ancient Art

"You know those moments when the universe gives you a nudge? I was thinking to myself just the other day... 'I'm feeling like putting on a full day mandala art workshop.' Then the very next day, this message appeared on my phone: 'Hi Chantal, do you have any creative workshops coming up by any chance? I feel drawn to the mandalas lately and would love to create one.' So funny how the universe works so quickly to say... 'Chantal - you are on the right path with that thought... now DO something about it.'"

Ok universe, I hear you loud and clear! And perhaps... you're hearing the same call.

Possible Arising Questions

Do I need any artistic experience?

Absolutely not! This retreat is designed for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced artists. The meditative nature of mandala creation welcomes everyone exactly where they are.

What if I DON’T finish my mandala during the day?

Perfect! You'll take home all the paints and tools needed to complete your masterpiece in your own sacred time and space.

What if I DO finish my mandala during the day?

Perfect! you could relax, or start another mandala if you like (you could purchase another 30cm prepared mandala board.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes you don't mind getting a little paint on. Dress in layers as we'll be indoors with both sitting and gentle movement.

Is this suitable for people dealing with stress or anxiety?

The meditative, repetitive nature of mandala creation is incredibly soothing and grounding. Many people find it deeply therapeutic and stress-relieving. If you want to get up and move, take a break anytime - that is fine. The venue is situated on a running stream which is lovely to go outside and connect with. I invite you to let go of any “must get this perfect” expectations. This is your first try - and possibly wont have the muscle memory for dotting, swooshing or doing brushstrokes as yet (or you might !!!).

Can I bring my children ?

This classroom, with others focussing on their work - is not suitable for small children roaming/ needing supervision. If your child would like to do their own practice/ mandala creation - please contact me for a Childs pricing for this workshop. You will need to purchase an adults ticket - before purchasing one for your child accompanying you (ages above 12 should be suitable for this days activities). .
