Gentle Reset — Experience the profound restoration of restorative yoga, mindful movement, and breathwork designed to calm your body and quiet your mind. These practices don't ask anything of you except presence.

Sacred Rest — Drift into the healing embrace of yoga nidra (sleep yoga) and guided meditation. Allow yourself to soften, release, and be held in the space—perhaps for the first time in a very long time.

Sound Bath Journey — Surrender to the resonant vibrations of the tibetan bowls, tuning forks, wind gong and koshi chimes. Let sound wash over you and through you, dissolving tension and returning you to wholeness.

Time for You — Step away from the noise, the demands, the endless to-do list. This is your sanctuary—a rare space carved out just for your restoration and reconnection.

Half Day Retreat Flow 

Landing in Presence
We begin by gently transitioning from the busyness of life into the sacred space of the retreat. Through grounding practices and breath awareness, we invite your nervous system to soften and your heart to open. This is your permission slip to let go.

Deep Surrender
Move through a sequence of supported restorative poses, where bolsters, blankets, and props do the holding so you can simply receive. Each shape is designed to release tension and invite your body back to its natural state of ease.

Conscious Relaxation
Drift into the transformative practice of yoga nidra, moving through layers of relaxation while remaining gently aware. This "yogic sleep" offers the restoration of hours of deep sleep in just 30 minutes.

Sonic Healing
Lie back and let the healing frequencies of tibetan singing bowls, chimes, gongs, and sacred instruments wash over and through you. Sound has a way of reaching places words cannot touch. Allow every cell of your being be awash with healing sounds.

Carrying Peace Forward
We close with gentle movement to reawaken the body, followed by a moment of reflection and intention-setting. Before you leave, gather with your fellow retreaters for nourishing tea and bliss balls—a sweet moment of connection to carry the care forward into the evening.

Meet your space holders

Chantal is a yoga therapist with 1000 hours of yoga therapy and group training, with a particular focus in trauma informed practices that balance the nervous system ( Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga, Kundalini and Qi Gong). She holds a 660-hour Master in Meditation Teaching, leads Mandala Art retreats, holds a yearly “Heart Wisdom Retreat” 4 night immersive yearly, and serves as WomanSpeak Lead Trainer for Australia. Her work weaves ancient wisdom with nervous system science to create profound experiences of rest and renewal.

Rachel is the founder of Living Mindfully and co-founder of Restorative Yoga Brisbane. Level 1, 500HR trained yoga teacher, 150HR trained Meditation Teacher a certified 350HR MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) facilitator and sought-after retreat presenter, retreat caterer - and all round bright light in this world. Rachel brings deep expertise in guiding others into stillness and presence.

Together - as great friends and fellow foodies - and founders of “Restorative Yoga Brisbane” we create a space where rest is not just permitted but celebrated. Our combined expertise ensures you are held with skill, warmth, heart and deep presence throughout your retreat experience.

  • Not at all! This retreat is designed for all bodies and experience levels. Everything is guided, supported, and accessible.

  • Just yourself in comfortable clothes. All props, mats, bolsters, and blankets are provided. You may wish to bring a water bottle and an extra layer for warmth during rest.

  • That's perfectly welcome! Your body knows what it needs. Whether you drift into sleep or remain in conscious relaxation, you'll still receive the benefits.

  • Yes. Restorative yoga is fully supported by props and can be modified for all bodies. Please let us know of any concerns when booking so we can ensure your comfort.

  • Emotions are welcome here. Rest can unlock feelings that have been held in the body. You will be held with compassion and care—there is no wrong way to experience this retreat. Tissues will be available.
